IS ONE VISION THAT I HAVE IN WHICH I WANT TO HAVE 1 MILLION COPIES OF MY BOOK, “THE ULTIMATE CAREER POCKET GUIDE” IN THE HANDS OF 1 MILLION WOMEN AS AN AIDE TO HELP THEM IN ACHIEVE THEIR PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS. I BELIEVE IN THE “POWER OF SMALL” TO ACHIEVE BIG. What Are We Going to Make Happen? My wish is for more women to be successful, every day, in all that she sets out to do as professional. It is my personal mission to ensure every woman is in the know. I want you to know about the things you’ll actually need to succeed. “The Ultimate Career Pocket Guide” unpacks insights that your boss and/or the organization won’t share with you. You will gain knowing how apply the insights, tips, and questions that are posed to you in my book. I co-authored this book as a practical yet powerful go-to resource focused on helping professionals master the skills. My goal in writing this book is to reveal the daily professional behaviors essential to achieving career success – skills beyond one’s job skills. My intention with titling the book “Ultimate Career Pocket Guide” is that I saw it as the complete resource book based on real-life professional and personal experiences; a mirror of two professional women who chartered a path, me and Dolores DeGiacomo. As we continue to journey this path, we hope that many more women will gain insight and knowledge with us. I believe that it is the “ultimate” career resource and today’s professional woman needs this even more. She does not need to be bogged down with more information, but the right information as she continues to break through walls, ceilings and barriers- the very obstacles that are prohibiting her from professional success. How Will This Be Done? Individuals: I am asking supporters of this work to simply purchase a book (or several books) and “gift” it to a woman they feel would not only benefit from reading it, but take action. The “buy one, give one” concept. Organizations : I am asking that organizations aligned with my initiative in supporting women to be successful, contact me for us to partner. What this means is that your company would purchase a minimum of 1,000 books to be donated to a non-profit; focused on the advancement of women. In return, 20% of the book proceeds will be donated to the selected non-profit. In addition I would also agree to a complementary public speaking event, fireside chat or professional discussion for the non-profit receiving the money from me. I would also be open to discussing with the company that has purchased the books, how I could help them from a brand or awareness perspective of their support and goodwill on behalf of women and the nonprofit they donated the books to.
